Mundo - the programme
The project gave rise to a weekly ten minute Mundo slot which can be seen in the YLE TV1 Basaari programme series on Mondays at 5.10 pm, and as a rerun on YLE24 on Tuesdays at 10:10 am and on YLE TV1 on Fridays at 15.50 am.

Mondays will offer topics about Finland with a guaranteed ethnic spin. The Mundo slot will always consist of short documentaries that are one hundred percent produced by immigrants and that are of general interest.
The ten-minute Mundo programme is part of the regular Basaari programme and it is made up of two or three different short documentaries the subjects, viewpoints and executions of which vary.
The progamme slot will be developed during the course of the project so that it can achieve its own format in the future and, by extension, its own programme slot in TV1’s programming schedule.
