ANNA KULICKA-SOISALON-SOININEN (b. 1953)

Originally from Poland, Anna’s current home is in Kallio, Helsinki. She is a journalist.

In Warsaw Anna worked as an assistant for a BBC News producer and also in Polish TV as a director and producer of reportage programmes. She has also worked as a reporter for the Warsaw Voice magazine and the TVP News programme, as well as a director of a public relations company.

Among the most unforgettable experiences of her career have been interviews with Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Paco de Lucia, Nobel prize winner Czeslaw Milosz, Eartha Kitt, Cardinal Gocłowskin and Bishop Huotari. However, her greatest source of inspiration has been the move to Finland.

In Finland Anna has organised her own photography exhibition, photographed for the Polish Newsweek magazine, written stories for Finnish publications, and directed short documentaries for the Mundo series.
