CARLOS MARROQUIN (b. 1977)
 Born in Mexico City, Carlos moved to Finland to study in August 2002.
In Mexico Carlos completed a university degree in the field of international trade. He graduated in Finland in August 2005 from a Masters Degree for Intercultural Communication.
He has participated in international assignments and worked, for example, in marketing, PR and in social work among children and minorities. In Jyväskylä, he worked for the Palapeli project and as the editor in chief of the Palapeli magazine. He has directed several documentaries for the Mundo television programme, one short film for the PLAN Suomi foundation, and a TV trailer for YLE TV1.
In the future, he is particularly interested in working as a media producer, a scriptwriter and a director for both documentary and fiction films.
