NADEZDA POJASNIK (b. 1953)
 Nadezda is from Russia and moved from St. Petersburg to Finland in 1998.
She graduated from a University in Moscow as a bibliologist, and has worked as a marketing director in a bookshop and as a cultural event organiser in St. Petersburg. She has also made adverts for radio and the press.
In Finland, Nadezda has participated on a foundation course for television journalism and worked for two years in Maahanmuuttajien Tuki ry as a cameraperson and editor. She has made programmes from different immigrant events for video distribution. She has also shot two documentaries for YLE TV1’s Basaari, several Mundo short documentaries, one documentary for Kassandra ry, and one short film for the PLAN Suomi foundation. She has also directed four short documentaries for the Mundo television series.
