Tipi´s comments

Drakos’s – some may say reckless (due mainly to its diversity) – first round repertoire may make listeners overlook the fine individual items in this “hotchpotch”.
Again it’s great that an American musician has chosen American composers (Corigliano and Barber). I’m a bit surprised at Popper’s Tarantella op. 33 – a music school piece.
A musician with an interesting chamber music background and another pupil of the Guarneri Quartet’s David Soyer. Definitely one of the most experienced contestants.
