A documentary about North Karelian wood and textile industry workers who experience a turning point in their life. In Uimaharju Sawmill, the retiring workers are being replaced by young men, and the trade union is strong. The textile factory in Nurmes, however, is moving its sewing industry to Estonia, which means that dozens of long-term employments are coming to an end. What remains? Vesa and Topi from the paper trade union and Anja and Leila from the textile industry union take us to search for comradeship and hope.

When Amish children reach the age of 16 years, they are entitled to familiarise themselves with the world of cars, electricity, alcohol, fashion and sex. Just like other young Amish people, also Faron and Velda make up their minds about the future course of their life during the trial period.

Almost precisely thirty years ago, on 11th September in 1973, General Pinochet took over power in Chile, and the president Allende got killed. The world famous director Patricio Guzman returned in his home country 23 years later to show his film "The Battle of Chile" for the first time. His visit inspired a new film about the importance of recollection and the younger generation's need to know the truth.

Venezuela is the world's 4th largest exporter of oil. HugoChavez, the democratically elected president of the country, promised to end corruption and improve the situation of the people living in poverty. However, a coup was attempted a year ago. Irish documentarists were in Venezuela to film what was going on. The documentary won the Grand Prize at the BANFF television film festival.
