Carnival in Rio
The story behind the annual carnival in Rio, its origins and its growing influence in a country noted for its powerty and corruption. While costumes and floats are being prepared in the favalas (slums), this film also picks out the homeless sleeping in the streets, huge carnival balls which turn into mad orgies towards morning, the largest meeting of transvestites in the world, and assassins who won't kill because the fee is too small.- Andrej Fidyk
