For his concerto Robino has chosen the same as so many of the other contestants. I hope we don’t end up hearing Prokofiev’s Sinfonia Concertante six times in the finals, even though it is one of the finest concertos ever written for the cello.
Robino brings us a taste of his native Argentina. This alone makes the first round interesting. Brilliant!
