(Kivi - paperi - sakset) A documentary about North Karelian wood and textile industry workers who experience a turning point in their life. In Uimaharju Pulpmill, the retiring workers are being replaced by young men, and the trade union is strong. The textile factory in Nurmes, however, is moving its sewing industry to Estonia, which means that dozens of long-term employments are coming to an end. What remains? Vesa and Topi from the paper trade union and Anja and Leila from the textile industry union take us to search for comradeship and hope.
