The European Union grants huge sums of money to agriculture. Nick Fraser is a journalist living in London who does not want the beautiful European countryside to disappear, but at the same time he does not understand why preserving it requires such enormous sums of money.
This dilemma on his mind, Nick embarks on a long journey through Europe in order to find out about the EU's agricultural principles.

The documentary was filmed in a few weeks' time and it features, among others, flirting youngsters, karaoke singers and a photographer on the beach with a monkey. The film was awarded at the Nyon Film Festival in 2002.
