Summer Documentaries in YLE2 are favourites from the 90s . They are documentaries with strong sense of life. The films are all except one produced in Finland.

The Temple is a fantasy retelling the original Kalevala mythology.

17.6. THE CINDERELLA OF TALLINN (Tallinnan tuhkimo) (66 min)

The story of Tiiu Silves, a Tallinn business woman. The sales of her enterprise exceeds the Estonian state budget. Mrs Silves says: "Money doesn't bring happiness; it comes from the soul".

A documentary about the Finns in the shipwreck of the Titanic in 1912. The Titanic was the biggest and the most modern vessel of her time. The shipwreck shocked the whole world.

The film chronicles the top secret, strange and visually compelling history and motivation for the design, production, and testing of the Atomic and Hydrogen boms by governments around the world, spanning the year's 1939 and 1962 after which above ground Nuclear testing was banned.
