This is a documentary film about the friday night café called Walkers which activities is to effect on the alienation of young people from the society and possibly prevent it. 16.9. INSHA ALLAH - GOD WILLING (55 min) Insha Allah describes what it is to live as a refugee in Finland at the turn of the millenium. The film follows the colourful life of two young Somalian families for almost a year. DON'T TELL DADDY Don't Tell Daddy is a documentary film about the trade in girls between Finland and the former Soviet states. The film follows one girl's story from her recruitment in Estonia, showing the ways in which she is deceived into going to Finland to work as a stripper, to the point where she realizes her entrapment is complete. 23.12. BLISS (55min) The Churilov sisters, together with the other 15 people in their community, live in isolation forgotten by the rest of Russia in their remote hilltop village. The village is so small and remote that, in the war, the Germans walked past it and after the war the communist state forgot to build them road.
30.12. ALIENS - STOWAWAYS OF THE DEEP (52 min) Documentary about one of the most important environmental problems in the world. It is the transfer of alien water organisms from one continent to another in ships' ballast water or attached to the hull of ships.
