Dokumenttilehtiä maailmalla
Maailmalla ilmestyy yllättävän monta aikakausilehteä, jotka käsittelevät dokumenttielokuvia. Suomalaisille tunnetuin on varmasti EDN:n julkaisema DOX. Kanadalainen POV kirjoittaa puolestaan usein suomalaisista dokumenteista.
POV is the premiere magazine in Canada about documentaries and independent films made in Canada and abroad. In covering the increasingly influential documentary movement, we have recently published articles on such important doc-makers as John Walker, Nettie Wild, Jennifer Baichwal, Heddy Honigmann, and Anand Patwardhan.
We have focused on the work of such important Canadian filmmakers as Peter Raymont, Alanis Obomsawin, Bonnie Sherr Klein, Lindalee Tracey, Julia Kwan, and Zacharias Kunurk, amongst many many others.
Our belief in authentic expression in film and video resonates beyond the documentary movement to include articles and columns on independent artists such as Nelofer Pazira and Floria Sigismondi.
The magazine has a host of regular features that cover the burgeoning indie movement in non-fiction and fiction filmmaking.
